IIMV Launches Capacity Building Program On Digital Transformation
Visakhapatnam: Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) launched the second batch of its capacity building program for large digital transformative projects here on Monday.
The five-day program, supported by the National E-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), brought together 31 participants from various government organisations across the country.
The program is an initiative under the Digital India Programme, designed to empower government organisations to effectively manage and execute high-impact digital projects, ensuring their long-term success.
Prof Srinivas Josyula, the Program Director, extended a warm welcome to participants and attendees, providing an overview of the program. He emphasised the importance of the initiative in empowering government organisations to manage large-scale digital transformation projects and highlighted the critical role of the program in shaping a digitally empowered India.
Director of Technology Management at NeGD Dinesh Didel in his inaugural address highlighted the program's significance in fostering a collective vision for digital transformation.
“This program is not only about enhancing governance but also about impacting the daily lives of citizens across the country. It is an opportunity to drive collaboration and innovation toward a shared vision of a digitally empowered India,” he remarked.
